Flax

Flax, a community cat from the West Paris TNR Program, now adopted

Flax was one of the friendliest felines we encountered during this round of trapping. She was calm, approachable, and quickly transitioned into the shelter model. Once she was examined by vet staff, they discovered she had recently been nursing. We immediately began searching for her kittens and managed to locate two of them days later.

Flax moved through the shelter system without issue and was adopted shortly after. Her kittens, Hank and Rove, were too young to return to the colony and were also taken in. You can read their story on the Flax’s Kittens post.

Flax came to us through the West Paris TNR Program. For more on that effort, see the West Paris TNR Program post.
