Flax was one of the friendliest felines we encountered during this round of trapping. She was calm, approachable, and quickly transitioned into the shelter model. But once she was examined by vet staff, they discovered she had recently been nursing. We immediately began searching for her kittens — and managed to locate two of them days later. While Flax is now under care through the shelter system, she’s doing well and will hopefully begin her next chapter soon.
