Introducing the New ACO Stats Dashboard: A Transparent Look at Animal Control Efforts in Buckfield, Sumner, West Paris, and Stoneham
I’m excited to announce the release of a new Animal Control Officer (ACO) Stats Dashboard for Buckfield, Sumner, West Paris, and Stoneham! This interactive tool is designed to give the community a transparent, real-time look at the work I’m doing to ensure the safety and well-being of both animals and residents in our towns.
What You’ll Find in the Dashboard:
- Monthly and Year-to-Date Reports: Easily track how many calls I’ve responded to, from stray animals to welfare checks, and everything in between.
- Types of Calls: See a breakdown of the various incidents, such as dogs at large, animal cruelty reports, or livestock issues.
- Case Outcomes: Whether animals were reunited with their owners, placed in shelters, or if citations were issued, you can find that information here.
- Follow-Up Actions: Get an overview of educational efforts, outreach initiatives, and other steps taken to resolve ongoing cases.
Why This Matters:
I’ve been posting monthly stats on our Facebook page, and the feedback has been fantastic. This new dashboard takes it a step further by offering a more detailed, user-friendly way to keep the public informed about the work happening behind the scenes. Transparency is important to me as your Animal Control Officer, and I believe this dashboard helps build trust within the community.
How to Access the Dashboard:
You can access the dashboard [here], or find it pinned to the top of our Facebook page. I’ll continue to update the stats regularly, so you can stay informed about the important work being done to protect both animals and people in our towns.
Thank you for your continued support as I work to keep our communities safe and our animals well cared for!
